IACV valve problem

IACV valve problem
I just took my iacv valve off and cleaned it with carb cleaner then let it dry and put it on and let it idle for a few seconds and then rev to 3000 rpms and close the throttle and it goes down to below 500 rpms and sputters and almost dies...
i was told it 'could' be a bad iacv valve and if so how much could i get one for New or used???? thanks

a new one might cost you roughly about $100 new.
