IACV B18b Swap
Hey Honda-Tech Forum,
I swapped my D for a B and I'm using the wiring harness from the D. Everything plugs up except the IACV.. The D came with a three pin female connector and the B18 IACV is a pin two pin male. I took pics.. I want to know what is my next step

What year is your car?

There's 1 for 99-00 civic also.
You cut the 3 wire plug and use the 2 wire plug, color match the wires and leave the 3rd wire(orange one) off. Then move the wire at the ecu plug and done

Re: IACV B18b Swap
The car is an EJ6? I know when swapping my obd1 b18b1 into my 93 eg si i had to cut back the wire loom so that my iacv and iat plugs would reach the sensors, since the iat sensor moved from the back of my d16z6 intake manifold to the runner on my b18b1 manifold. That's all I did on mine

Re: IACV B18b Swap
I have a 01 ls going into my 99 hatch so I'm doing all this as well. I'm just a little farther down the path. I'm running a chipped p28 ecu with jumper harness on my stock sohc dx harness. I eliminated all obd2 sensors and misc emissions crap like the evap box thing and rewrapped my harness. Still need to get myself a clutch and all fluids to start it up. Being delayed cuz I have a new front end out to paint I'm waiting on.

I believe that You're all wrong. The IACV has two hoses coming off of it. I located the old IACV three connector plug. All I have to do is find a two pin plug remove the orange wire and rewire my ECU.

What are you talking about? Everyone is correct including you statement above. Above is listed the instructions on how to convert your 3 wire to 2 wire which would be correct. And as I listed above that plug you posted in the first post is not the IACV plug but rather it is either the IAT (which will not plug and play with the b18 but you can use the civics IAT in the intake arm), Evap purge or charcoal canister purge.

Re: IACV B18b Swap
Bro wtf I've explained it for you. The plug you have pictured is to that purge solenoid on the intake manifold. If your going odb1 You don't need it.
Your iacv issue is what I posted already. Get the correct plug and wire it up. Done. Cap the purge off.
