Default iab question

i just did a gsr swap in my eg im running a 98 gsr with a p28 it runs fine i wired vtec but i was woundering how much power will i loose with out the iab hooked up

i've seen cars dyno higher with them unhooked.

do what you gotta do

do what you gotta do
peak power maybe so, but if your'e not gonna remove the butterflies you may as well hook them up, IMO there if a diff. in midrange power. If your on a p28 just buy a type r style manifold(skunk,blox, etc) and get the car tuned.
Just my opinion, but if your gonna run the gsr manifold you may as well hook up the iab so it functions as intended.

but the p28 doesnt look for iab so how do i get it to work or does it

and if i remove the secondary butterflies will it run hard or loose top end or low end power

Im not sure if you can get it to work with a p28, someone else is gonna have to chime in on that, if you wanna run the stock gsr mani, you can use a obd1 94-95 gsr ecu.

If your gonna keep the motor stock thats the way to go, if your gonna add cams and other mods you may as well just swap the manifold and get the p28 tuned with crome or hondata or one of the many other programs. BUT if your gonna keep it as a stock gsr engine with the stock manifold get the obd1 p72 and hook up the iab.

my p28 has hondata s200 u think i should just get a eld or a sk2 intake mani
