you really need to do some trial an error....each driver is different and likes a different ride/how the car feels...

will hold the weight. But you'll have to get a setup to work with your type of driving also.

i would like something that will ride close to stock but will also be able to handle some minor auto x. is there any setup out there that will do the job for around 500?

I'm not sure if I'd consider Tokico blues a "good performance shock"...

But the Ground Controls with Prelude spring rates are a good idea. Match those with Koni Sport shocks

GC koni yellow setup is strong, thats what i got. or just go to teins, thats what im switching to-more adjustability. spend the money on good **** from the start so you dont have to keep switching out for better all the time.

You have the right idea my friend.

Kp_VtekNiks: For $500, try and get some some Eibach springs from Ground Control or Truechoice that have Prelude rates. That might leave you enough cash for a set of KYB AGX shocks, which should hold you over until you save up for a better suspension.

Also, where do you go to school? I go to UPS. Just curious

And BTW, if you go AutoXing in the spring (or whenever NWR-SCCA starts up again) I'd be interested in the results, what with the H22 and all.

i dont really want to buy springs since i have skunk 2 coilovers, jus want some good shocks and struts that will help put the skunks a lil. any more info people?

I didn't realize you already had coilovers. That makes things easier:

Try to pick up a set of Koni Sport ("yellows") shocks, and if they're too expensive, go with Tokico Illuminas
