Do the body panels line up ? if yes then don't worry if not it could be the panel it's self vs the actual frame.

get a buddy a tape measure and go online and look for "crash book" measurements. This way you can go off of what it should be

my factory shop manual has all the dimensions in the body chapter.
And you can't rely on how body panels line up. You can have shock towers a little out or suspension points moved and still align the body panels.

Yes I do. It's a hood, bumper, grill and headlight swap. The wrinkled up inner passenger side fender and pass door hitting the back of the fender is what tells me is was in a crash

I don't have the manual so I can't give you the numbers. If you can't find anything on the internet, most library's carry car manuals.
On the other hand, if you do what NotARacist suggested, you don't need to know what numbers you should get. All you need to determine is if the numbers match when you measure the diagonals. Cars have points all over for frame guys to measure when repairing crash damage.
Search for how to square a frame wall. Same principles.

Its probably pretty obvious based on OP's description that it was trashed. Inner fenders, etc. all tore up... I would be looking for new weld joints, etc...
OP, even if you find out it was wrecked, what do you realistically plan on doing?

Not buying a carfax on a 300$ car. If the car was wrecked I'm not going to do anything but use it as a dd till it dies. If not I was going to replace the boogered up fender and swap it to a 5speed and throw some parts at it.

if it's just a beater, you might be able to chain it down and use a come along and a tree to pull that side back into something reasonably square, I've seen plenty of people do it, just pull a very small amount and measure measure measure

I'll get off of work early today, I'll post pics then. Can I post them on here or do I have to link them from photobucket?

I do not know how to resize. The first pic is from when the po opened the pass door after swapping the new front but before checking the gaps. The 2nd pic is looking down between the air box and the pass inner fender. You can't see it in this pic but it looks like some of drilled holed and tried to pull this piece out. I also found body filler in this location and on top of the strut tower.
