Default I think I'm getting ripped off... HELP

I am trying to get my stock suspension put back on my 93 civic EG and every place that will put them in keeps quoting me 300 dollars. That seems like alot just to bolt on some already assembled shocks and springs... thats it. Does anybody know of any good places in southern cali where I can get this done cheap...

Do you have the shocks and springs? I have the springs for a 93 eg8 you can have them if you want. 300 is way too much I believe.

it costs that much because there is a little work with compressing the spring where they have the nice tool. You can do it yourself by renting a SPRING COMPRESSOR for $20, or better yet, see if your local autozone/checker rents tools for free. Unless they are aftermarket springs, you will definitely need a spring compressor.

If they are already assembled, complete with struts and tophats, why won't you put them on yourself? A couple nuts and bolts, you're set. Shouldn't take you more than 1 hour for all 4.

I would have to agree with everyone saying do it yourself.

But if you don't have the tools or aren't sure of yourself doing something like suspension, then Luserkid will do it for you in 20 mins. I work with him on all of his cars (for the most part) and between the 2 of us we could get it done real quick for cheap.

It's never taken me an hour to get all four sides on. And I've done like 10 spring/strut jobs on 5-6 different cars.

You super fast lightening people are inspiring.
