Default i ran over a skunk, dammit

ok so i ran over a skunk last night and now the interior smells like skunk. I've seen that if you want to get rid of the smell you get 1 quart of 3% hydrogen peroxide, 1/4 cup of baking soda and 1 teaspoon of liquid soap and mix it together. I need to know if this is safe for paint because I'm starting to get mad and i'm just going to put it all over the tire, and everything else near it.

The hydrogen peroxide will do damage to metals, not too sure about paint. Just don't leave it on for too long, and rinse after use.

Also will damage metal. That's why you don't keep tomato juice in uncoated metal containers -- they'll leach metals out. Thank you culinary school.

A good option would be to wash your car with dish soap (this will take off all the wax and product that may have absorbed the stank) and get your undercarriage professionally steam cleaned.

this is true, the acid in the tomato will counter act with untreated metals..

South Puget Sound CC. It's a pretty good program. ACF Accredited and Certified, and you work in a production-style kitchen, instead of your individual station.
