Default I need new struts

after doing some brake work on my car, my cousin got looking at my struts and told me I should look into getting some new ones, the ones on there now are just the stock ones that came with the car. I was looking around some sites on the internet and was thinking about getting some Tokico struts with some Eibach or Tein springs, would that work ok?

yes that would be great... but i dont see any reason to replace stock struts unless they are blown. otherwise they are good. when you jack the car up, do the struts leak oil?

no, the struts aren't blown, he just said when he pulled one out that there was a lot of rust and that it seemed "worn out", regardless, I don't think I'd mind upgrading my suspension. if I did the tokico struts with some tein springs, would I still have to cut the bumpstop or anything like that, like I did with my last car when I just put new springs on the stock struts?
