stop bumping it liek 20 times a day. just wait a few days and you will get an answer, if someone knows. Obviously nobody has replied because nobody knows the answer yet..

i'm gonna meet up with him on monday and were gonna test fit the seats. try to see how much work would have to be done. and since my rear seats are already taken out, it should be quick and easy.

an update:
picture of actual seats:
for the rear seats:
bottom cushion uses all the same mounting techniques as my stock seats. they are just in slightly different locations. so i'd have to cut and move those. and there is about a 1 1/2" gap on the sides(between the end of the seat and the interior plastic panel.) not really that noticable tho.
HOWEVER... the back peices are gonna take some pretty serious modification. to be able to even fit together in place approx. 6" needs to be removed. theres a few ways to do this. i think the simplest would be to cut it all outa one seat on the section in the middle. and make them like a 60/40 set instead of 50/50 how they are now. i didn't check mounting the brackets yet. so idk about those yet. i'll be sure to do a WELL written walk through and i'll keep you guys updated as i progress.
wish me luck!!
_Luke
p.s.- i'm pickin up the seats on wednesday. i bought the full set(f and r) for $260 and its even had a microseal treatment that garuntee's they wont' stain or fade for 6 years

ok i have the seats. maybe its just cuz its dark outside and i'm way too sweaty but 3 outa 4 bolts DON"T line up!! 2 line up but i can't even get the second one in because i need to bend the metal a bit so it will sit down more. but i HIGHLY doubt i could get a 3rd in without metal fab work.
oh and another thing, the plug for the seatbelt sensor doesn't fit into the rsx seat.
anyone have personal experience getting the front seats into a 6gen civic??

Re: (lkailburn)
yeah i have them in my coupe, what in the world made you think they'd fit at all? the fronts don't fit at all, though i have them after working on it. But isn't this post about the rear seats?

Re: (lkailburn)
i remember hearing somewhere that RSX seats wont swap into a 6 gen without welding the brackets on the seat. Not sure, but hoping someone can correct me on this.

yah sorry i know the post is about the rear. but thats cuz i was more concerned about the rear.. i had heard that for the front 3 outa the 4 line right up. i had already test fit the rear and i knew what i was getting myself into.. but could you help me out with the fronts.. maybe take some pictures of what kinda work you had to do. my dad can have anything welded for me so thats not an issue.
thanks man you don't know how much i appreciate it,

Re: (lkailburn)
for the front 3/4 is fine
or u can just drill an extra hole, this goes for si seats, rsx seats, s2000's etc
for the rear seats, i brought them to a re-upholstering place, and they just made it fit, had to cut some metal, but its good

otakueric--see the problem is: ppl said 3/4 of the front bolts line right up.. but that doesn't seem to be the case?? idk maybe i was just too tired to really work at it. thats why i'm looking for ppl with personal experience.
with the rear.. about 6 inches needs to be cut out.. which means plate, foam and then pull the cloth around or something..
any help is appreciated !
thanks guys

barefootbilly-- two line up perfect after a bit of bending. did you have to weld on some more steel and then drill? is that what ya did. i can have my dad's shop weld anything anywhere so that wont be a problem at all.
if you have any hints or suggestions i should keep in mind let me know
thanks man!

again i can't stress enough the fact that the pattern on the seats DOES NOT show up that prevelent in real life. you can barely even see it sometimes. its just something with the way the camera exposure works.
