What Civic is it? My 99-00 Si has two small tow hooks under the passenger and driver side of the front end...

theres 2 hooks on the front, on both sides, and one in the back in the middle. tow trucks dont even use them though, the just lift the front off the ground.

Unfortunately, I don't see how it could be done safely if you're not planning on using a towtruck. There are factory towhook locations in the front and rear but those seem better suited to a one time pull (out of a ditch) or for securing the car down onto a flatbed or trailer.
Good luck.
Good luck.

okay....im happy to help with this situation....my friend had a 99 coupe and i had to tow with my dads mazda truck, and we tried to tow it to the bar behind the front bumper, like a fellow member suggested.....DONT DO IT!!! While we were towing it, we had to stop suddenly, and the civic stopped faster than the truck and it ripped that part right off ....the tow hooks on the front will work great, just go slow, drive with your hazards, and make sure no one pulls out in front of you suddenly...just be patient or you will end up in a worse situation....good luck.....btw, all we used was a single chain and a driver in each car....it can be done.....
