I recently ordered a pair of usdm lenses from someone off this board. He claimed to say that they fit a 95 civic ex. When I recieved these, they did not fit my car. I asked him to mail me my money back, and I would send his lenses back, and that would be that. He says, "a deal is a deal", and refuses to mail me my money back. A deal might be a deal, but they don't fit my car. What do you think about this?

That's pretty messed up. Some deal- the stupid things don't fit your car....Does he live anywhere around you? You could pay a visit to his house...

2 door and 4 door are different. Was that clearly stated? If he stated 4 door and you have a 2 door, you get to eat the deal.

He never clearly stated anything, and he still won't tell me what car they are for. So I can't even sell them. Does anyone have a 95 4 door civic. Maybe they can get me the number off the product so I can sell them to someone else. That guy is a jerk.

2 words--buyer beware

the responsibility falls on the buyer to ask the 'right' questions when aquiring a part. in your case the difference b/t the 2 door/4 door comes into question. now if the seller straight out lies to you then you have been defrauded.

try to find out what part your really have and then see if you can trade/sell it.
