Icon2 I need axle help. already searched.

I have a 96 civic coupe with a gsr bottom end and a ls tranny. I know what the hell am I doing with an ls tranny. I don't know. Anyway, it has a gsr intermidiate shaft and 90-93 integra axles. That's what car I swapped it from. My problem is, when my mech. took the drivers side axle out to change something, he had a hell of time getting it back in their. Do the 90 teg axle not fit? they are b series axles, and I thought bseries were interchangeable. It seemed the axle was longer than it was supposed to be by like a centimeter or something. I need to change that axle now as my boot is spitting grease and want to get some hasport axles since it has boost. I need to know what to get though. Any help would be greatly appreciated. As I seaid, I already searched and found a lot of everything but what I was looking for.

Here's what people don't realize sometimes..

Hydro trans use 94+ B series (Non CRV axles).. Non Type-R hubs use any non Type-R Axles
94-95 Del sol VTEC (B16)
94-01 Integra (RS, LS, GS, GSR, (NOT TYPE-R))
with 94+ intermediate shaft (has a male end)

CRV axles are completely different and are not interchangable.. (Too long)

Cable trans uses early integra axles (90-93)
and can only use early intermediate shaft (90-93 integ, Has a Female end)

The differential centerline is closer to the engine block on the cable transmissions and make the 2 intermediate shafts non-interchangable.

Hope this clears things up..
