I just don't get it...Greddy SP on my CAR
Well, i was looking at the buttom of my car and guess what?!
WOW, i would have thought it was ripped into pieces by now. Any ideas how i can fix that? I recently bought the exhaust system from a member on board, he told me it was from his ek coupe, which i saw pictures of. seems like the hanger sits...well out too far.
this could explain why my mid section was sitting so low and why it was scrapping the ground as i went over lil bumps.
BUT THEN AGAIN....here is another reason why i prolly was scrapping the gorund
how did i manage to do that?
anyways, yah...need some help on how to fix that hanger thing b4 i chop it off!

If you can use an oxy/acetylene torch you can heat it (after removing the rubber hanger) and bend it pretty easy with some vice-grips or big pliers. It's gotta be red hot. what i do is jack it up, and use a separate device to raise the system where you want it. You have to measure and get a picture of it in your mind before the heating, bending. Then bend the hanger to where it will align with the hanger with just a liitle upward tension for lift and to compenste for sag. You're sportin' a little too much tension there!
