Default I have IACV disconnected but idles still fluctuates???

I have a D16Y8 and there is no FITV.
while trying to verify the idle speeds I disconnected the IACV once the rad fan came on.
The idle fluctuates from 500-700 rpms for some reason.

what would be causing this to occur?

Ive got the same problem, i think the iacv needs to be connected for the ECU to recognize that the engine is up to temp and it will let it idle down... take off the IACV and clean it with TB cleaner, it usually gets clogged with carbon and sticks, youll see what i mean. might as well take the TB off and clean that too, gasket is only $1 and it will run better.

the IACV was removed and TB cleaner sprayed and let to soak inside for a few days.
the throttle was also sprayed and cleaned.

the hole inside the throttle when i place my finger gets sucked up and motor stalls.

The idle does not fluctuate now but it stalls when you come to a stop and press in the clutch.
