I got a skip need HELP

I have a 00 Civic EX that is stock I have a skip or a hesitation when it is cold. It feels like a miss but it does not happen in a pattern. It only happens when I am under when I am in the gas and when holding speed. I have never seen or heard any of my other autos do this so any help would be helpful. There is also no check engine light on. please help.
