I can't believe I'm asking this...
I finally installed my B18B1 into my 93 CX hatch......
Actually, everything was pretty freaking simple.....but I don't have and intake/airbox. What intake pipe is going to fit? civic? Del sol?... I'm really not sure, so anybody know?

you can use the stock civic one, or just throw an aftermarket short ram on there from pep boys for like $20 bucks...

WoW!
You just gave me a GREAT idea!!!
I'm running a stock CiViC Si airbox (w/ K&N panel filter) on my B16A2-EJ7 but I wanted to get rid of the ^%$# resonator!
I was actually *thinking* about buying a Spoon DAFP approx $185 - I'm so desperate...
Did YOU remove the resonator from your airbox or is that the way it came?!?!?

Excuse the sh!tty pic - I ripped it off someone else - but this is what I'm talking about.
The resonator is between the airbox and the intake tube - messes up the air flow - and kills the sound when you're WFO, e.g. a muffler for the intake system...
I see your setup is missing this piece...

That's the way it came... because his air box is from an obd1 car, and the picture you posted is from an obd2 civic...most cars don't have resonators on the top like the pic you put up, but rather under (ie behind the bumper), most people remove 'em 'cuz they are worthless and just make the car sound that much meaner, but when you pop the hood you gotta stock intake and people are like "ooooh, ahhhh" haha

Crap! That's what I was afraid of...
I gotta spend $185 for that ^%$# Spoon DAFP... if I wanna do it right!
Okay, thanks!
Carry on...

Well, I'm a big believer in K&N filters - the OIL is what does the filtering NOT the media - so flow is not a problem with a K&N panel filter.
And, the resonator - if you look at it - is nothing more than a 1/4" airgap between the airbox and the intake tube - so it doesn't restrict anything - it just messes with the flow and sound.
Soooo...
All I can tell you is - I trust Honda engineers more than third-party marketers, K&N aside!
Take it for what it's worth...
