I Am Updating Everyone On My Progress On My Swap.......
This morning i woke up and i called IAS to buy my swap from them but they sold it
the night before. I was so upset because i wanted that swap so bad. It was a
b16a3 w/ 96,000 miles on it and they wanted 2500. Well, anyways i called a friend
of mine in georgia and asked him if he knew anyone else that sold good swaps
and he said to check jarco inc. in canton georgia. i called these people and talked
to them and the guy told me that they dont do shipping that they deliver. so i was
kinda nervous that if i found something it couldnt be delivered. well... anyways i
called them and asked the guy what they had and he said that he had one half-cut
engine from a eg9 and sent me a pic to my email. when i saw the pic i drove all
the way down to georgia and wanted to see it for myself. It's a jdm b16a sir2 front
clip and it has 69,000 kilometers, which is like 43,000 miles. i fell in love with it
and had to buy. anyways to make a long story short, here's my progression so far.

Is it hard to find swaps in most places? Here in the NW they are everywhere. Not cheap, just readily available. My buddy charges like $2300 for a complete b16a swap with everything installed and like $3200-$3500 for a b18c swap.

Yeah, he has very very low overhead. Pays nearly nothing for his shop and he is the only person working there. Not even a real business type of thing, just a "hobby" shop where the hobby is Honda's. All legit, super nice guy, I trust his work and word over anyones.

Re: I Am Updating Everyone On My Progress On My Swap.......
I really didnt know that they was on ebay but i paid 2920 shipped for the whole
clip. He said that the damage wasn't much because they went to japan and drove
the car before they cut it. I'm also wondering how to put the cluster in my car, if t
wired straight up or what. when i was driving home i was wondering if i could cut
my car and make a right hand drive but it would take to much money, so i said
forget it. I'm hoping that th swap is in really good quality seening as that is was a
4dr. b16a. the guys seemed really confident about there stuff but anyways i inform
everyone when im done. plus i want to buy a evo system from my friend but i
dunno if it's a deep tone or a high pitch tone.

Hot **** and good luck. Remember that you cant use that JDM harness cause its backwards. Good buy. I would buy one if I had a place to put it.
