its probally put up b4 but im wondering what i need 2 do for this 2 work... anyone

LOL you DO know an HX is a "EK" right? Actually it is an EJ but those are semantics

so they will work straight up and no i didnt know that i never really looked into those wheels personally and i saw all of those threads on how they are 2 small n what not so they will be straight bolt up to a 00 coupe?

The hx wheels came on the 96-00 hx (coupe) So yes.

i think they fit all civics except the EX and Si unless you get spacers or grind the front brake calipers. Thats where your problem is.

You'll need spacers or have to grind off some of the bracket on the caliper, believe me

why your not going under the car? most likeyl you have steelies, use those as "jacks" if your worried. i did my front brakes with the jack that comes with the car and my to puc my cat on

the wheels will work on any ek model except the ex/si, which u need spacers for the front
