HP to Torque ratio???
My buddy drives a Ford Escort, he's seen dyno sheets from a lot of turbo escorts on his forums and also knows about the turbo Hondas. Well he noticed that the torque on the Escorts is usually a lot higher than HP, like 10% higher, but with Civics it's not the case. He was wondering if anyone knew anything about this?

Re: HP to Torque ratio???
it either has to do with the bore size and or valve overlap.. cause the way it usually works is the bigger bore size you have the more torque and the more overlap you have the higer the torque and just the opposite the longer stroke more hp less overlap more hp.. thats not always thats usually how it goes there are exceptions
