Default how to wire power window/locks.....in to a 97 ek...please help

just installed the power window motor and power locks into my ek that didnt come with power options....have everything i need including the door harness...was wondering how to wire everything and make everything work like it was factory...please help

if u want it like the factory u need the floor harness. You can order one from Majestic honda pretty cheap or find one from EX at a junk yard

nah i dont have the floor harness...but i do have the door harness....i heard something about hooking up relays or something like that...but im going to try and find the floor harness...thanx alot...please post more info

get the floor harness from a 96-98 ex civic and it will be plug in play

I just did this with my 92 DX. You will need the floor harness for sure. To hook it up without it is very hard to figure out! (Lot's of wiring ) I tried it and that same day went and picked up the floor harness. (My problem was because I have a hatchback I could not wire the rear wiper and defog without over loading it and blowing fuses). Just get the floor harness! (Paid like $4 for all the wiring and finished in 20 min. )

power window and doors are nice..my 98 hatch is all powered and also my rear trunk has a latch to open the trunk...that not much hatchbacks have that..

If anybody wants a hatch release they can just ad a soliniod (i thinks thats how you spell it ) and hook it up to the cable and then to the alarm trunk release button . It took me all of 10min. As far as having a latch inside the car for the hatch release, all civics come with either a trunk or hatch release latch.

i just did my power windows/locks conversion on my ek, windows work but not power locks, does anyone know why?
