How to wire LED washer lights on hood???
I just got some Washer lights and put them on my hood. I have no idea how to wire them up. I am no electrician and don't want to guess and mess it up,so.... can someone help. I know I need to either wire them to the headlight power source so that they will come on with the headlights or just do a direct wire up to a constant power source. The lights I have, have a manual control to allow them to strobe or be current. Where should I connect for power?? I know this is easy but please help, I'm retarted . About a paragraph on the subject ought to help me out.

Oh man this is gonna be a great thread. However before all the bullsh*t happens....
You connect one wire to a power source, and the other wire to a ground. In other words, you take the black wire and ground it to the frame, and the red (power) wire to a 12vdc source. I would recommend tapping into the dash lights so then when you turn on your head lights your LEDs will light up too. You can find the wire under the dash in the fuse box, look for the "dash lights" fuse and then trace the wire, cut and splice.

keep in mind that you might have to deal with getting pulled over for these. i dont know the law in your area but im sure they would ticket you for them in MN. so maybe you want to wire them to a toggle so you can turn them on when you please. my suggestion would be to keep the stock ones and save your time and money

On the plus side, now your hood will look like an airport landing strip. Do you have the flashy lights that go on your valve stems too??
Oh, and ill bet you have the neon exhaust tip too right?

I won't tell you to take them out, but I'll say this. Just keep chillin' on H-T. Oh, and don't sell your stock ones. You'll be mad at yourself later if you do.
