how to tell what car these shocks came from...

aite guys i need to know if these shocks are from a EJ8 or EJ1...

i'm not sure what this number is but here i go

52610-S01-A120-M1-981119 B

i looked on honda sites but no luck....

heres a pic...

51606-SR0-023 SHOCK ABSORBER UNIT, L. FR.

According to the USDM EPC, part number 52610-S01-A12 says N/A for USA. Probably a JDM part number.
