How to tell if shocks are blown?
hey guys just got my new tokico illuminas shocks installed with gcs, i drove it for a few days and then i noticed one of the sleeves in the rear was installed upside down. i took it back to shop, they fixed it. the drop i have right now is pretty much almost max in the rear, however i noticed GCs dont drop that low in the rear, its a lil bit tucked as it is right now. i never had aftermarket shocks before and right now the ride feels fine except when i hit bumps in the road my rear buckles up a bit and i can hear my tool bag in the trunk bump up and fall back down. are the shocks blown? and how do i tell. thanks

yup. see you are way too low. shocks are made to have some pressure inside. but once you drop it that much, the air pressure inside is just too much since the piston inside the shocks are compressing the air into a small space.
i have heard of shocks getting blown, cracking and leaking. dont know if its true but i would think so
