how to tell the difference 96 vs 99 civic fenders
came across oem civic type r fenders for $40 but the seller doesnt know if the fenders are 96 spec or 99 spec. how can you tell the difference between the 2 fenders. this place is about an hour away so i dont wanna go there for nothing. and my car is sitting on jackstands so i cant even try the fenders on my car. i tried to google some pics but they look to familiar in pictures so if someone can help me out i would greatly appreciate it.

Take the fender off your car, take it with you and compare them side by side
It will probably be still hard to tell a difference side by side so you might have to test fit on a car.

The 99-00 fender should have a sharper cut out of the front where it meets up with the headlight.
Look at the two front ends and compare. There aren't any number on them or anything.
Good things is CTR fenders are only different from US fenders in that they have holes already cut and recessed for side markers.
