How to take a good looking picture, FYI (im not bitching)
Ok I have seen alot of people post pics that are way too dark, so much that you can't tell what is what. So to fix this problem:
before you snap the pic, meter off the car and do a meter lock.
1 - Setting your shutter speed & aperture (lens light) so they are locked on your car. This will aviod things like the sun and other bright objects in the background from screwing with the meter.
Every camera has one of these features, if not do it manually.
2 - after "locking or holding" the meter on that setting, then focus and THEN take the picture. It will meter off your car or what ever the object of your picture is. Correctly.
Good Luck!

maybe the best thing for people with entry level cameras is to just simply hold it as still as possible. or even better, rest the camera on something stable like a chair or railing or whatever. this will definetly weed out some of the blurriness. Also, if your camera doesn't have manual adjustments like f-stops or aperture settings (or if you don't know what that means) just try taking a couple pictures of the same thing with different settings like flash or no flash. that way when you are uploading pictures, you can choose the best ones.
for some point and shoot digital cameras, taking shots at night is really hard because the light is too dim to have a good light exposed shot. this is why it's really important to hold the camera as still as possible. get a tripod, which works the best.

and not everybody likes breaking their neck to see a stunna sidewayds shot...lol
There are times for different angle, etc. Don't just stabd 20 feet from your car, do the stunna tilt, and snap.
