Default how to prevent rub on inner fender?

want to get 16's on my EG with TEIN SS but i dont want the tires to rub on inner fender. any tips on how to prevent this...?

just raise the front a few notches. and find a way to get your wheel under the fender more. SEARCH.

i wish i woulda know about that before i dropped my hatch. new 17 wheels and tires-800 new coilovers-free from friend seeing those coils help my car destroy my new tires-priceless

HUBB - if i get 15's will it make a difference or will it still rub?

thats what i want to know, im lowered 1.5 inch on 16x7s and i rub, about to buy 15 inch rotas but want to know if i will still rub...

I just whipped out my pocket knife and hacked away at the fender lining. Now, I never have any rubbing issues.

it will only rub if you get a camber kit.

i rolled my fender lips with a baseball bat.

Taking out the liner doesnt help all that much. i was rubbing and i have +42 offset 15s

I cut my fender lip, removed the plastic, and have 15`s and still I rub in tight turns. But my car is dumped by many peoples standards...

it all depends on the tire width it looks like ^^^^^ has azenis which are wider then most 15 inch tires which would explain why he rubs

i raised my car up eg's dont look as good so high but i had to prevent future scraping of my new downpipe =/

have any of you ever thought about putting a smaller series tire on your rims. Insead of having 205/50 get 205/40 and you will not rub as bad. I don't know if you want to go lower than 40 because then the tires get to low profile and your ride will suck.

just don't lower it too moch and get a rim with good pos offset, I running a set of MHT etune 17" with 205/4017 tires on a 3" drop and don't rub

remove your fender liner..and get 195 tires instead of 205 then your good to go
