im getting ready to finish mine up currently. mine is a 92 dx hatchback. the car is currently running with the auto engine harness, on a d15b2 obd0 engine. soon to have a y7 head. also, for the trans mount, ill be making a custom mount myself out of steel and window weld.

its the only motor i had at the time besides my rebuilt d16a1 sitting in the garage. plus i know this is very reliable with over 200k on it and burns very little oil. also, its getting a d16y7 head in a couple weeks to bump the compression up to 11.3 to 1. and possibly, here later down the road, ill put my d16a1 in with my turbo kit that im planning on doing.

what chassis, motor, etc? I did mine with help from my dad, I could help you with yours if your local. Or if you just want someone else to do it maybe me and him could do it for you for a reasonable price.

ill talk to him about it and see what he says. You should try to find some of the parts on your own. I'll look too. Its a shame because I just sold my extra clutch pedal last week. But you are going to need Clutch + Brake Pedal, Master Cyl, Slave Cyl, Shift Linkage, Shifter, Boot, Tranny, Clutch, Clutch Line. And then a Manual ECU aswell. I might have a shift linkage that fits your car, I'll have to do some research on it.
If your serious about doing it then make a WTB thread on HMP and search craigslist for the parts.

do you really need the auto to manual conversion mount? or can you just get the mount from a manual car?

You need the manual pocket mount off a manual civic (the one thats welded to the frame rail) plus the upper transmission mount that bolts to the pocket mount and the top of the transmission to do it this way.

And wasn't yours a '96 - '00 civic? Completely different animal in that regard. You flat out can't use the original automatic pocket mount on a 5th gen and not have the engine sitting funny and not have axle problems.

i have a question, i am doing the swap in my 92 civic...i have the clutch assembly in...i took out my brake/gas pedal assembly and compared it to the one im putting in, the clip that attaches to the brake is different. on the auto assembly it is 2 pins, in the manual one it is 4 pins...is that what happens, or do i have a different year assembly??

any help, would be appreciated.

Dont swap out the whole assembly. I just swapped out the pedal itself. That way you dont have that issue.
