How much would you pay for this Del Sol?
I'm not sure which forum this thread belongs in, but here it is:
1995 Honda Civic Del Sol S model ~100k miles
White on black, seats have red stripe
B18C5 block
B18C1 head
GSR tranny w/ITR diff
Skunk2 IM
Skunk2 cams
Skunk2 chipped ECU
ACT Heavy Duty Pressure plate w/6-puck disc
Fidanza flywheel
MSD ignition
I/H/E
VAFC
CF hood
powder coated black 99-00 Si wheels w/Pirelli P7000's
Sprint springs
cross-drilled rotors
CATZ "HID" lights replacing factory fogs
JDM inside door handles w/map lights
JDM guage cluster
ITR shift ****
No A/C
No P/S
Stripped trunk including the rack for the targa top
Very nice alarm, I'm not sure what brand or anything though
Car is in EXCELLENT condition
I think that's everything...
No pics sorry
Can anyone give me a rough estimate of what is reasonable?
TIA

96 huh...I'd say the $7-8k range. Depends on the condition of the car. Some ppl say "excellent" and it really looks "sub-par".

I would have rather had that set-up in a hatchback.
Del Sols get nice and rickety after a while, and NO I'm not talking out of my ***. My mom has a pristine 1997 Del Sol S model with less then 60K miles and they like to squeak and rattle!
*EDIT*
For you skeptics, her car has NEVER been wrecked either, so there goes that theory. I work at a shop and every single Del Sol I've worked on, ridden in, or drove has had an overall strange feeling and had its own quirks like rattles, buzzes, or squeaks.
And yes my hatch has it's share of these things too, but they are fixable, yet I don't care about that crap right now - I'll fix those later. And those are due to my gutting process, not structural integrity of lack thereof.
SWEET!
And they are some heavy M'Fers too.
I'm just trying to be "the other side" of your debate here. I feel it is my duty to at least warn you of the potential "problems" that you might run into if you do buy that Del Sol.
Wouldn't you just hate it if you were driving around one day and it hit you:
"Jesus I should have just built a good old hatchback!"
Just playing devil's advocate Mr. Brewer!
