How much would it cost to get a GSR swap into an EG
Yes, I searched.
How much would it cost for parts and installation of a GSR engine. Also does anybody know of a good shop in so cal to do this?
I had an EG with an LS and the lack of top end depressed me. The thought of LS/VTEC gave me a headach. So I decided that I would buy a new hatch stock and swap in a GSR engine.(old one got wreckedhttps://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=840936 But I don't know how much it will cost. I saw hmotorsonline selling a GSR engine w/ tranny for 3100. I suppose if I wanted to be a cheapo I could us my LS tranny, or is that a bad idea?

go learn to swap it, its not tat hard..dont depend on shops...they will only rip u off unless u know the people...anyways...i can do it for u...or refer to someone i know...in so cal

Well I would if I had the time, patience, tools, and space to do it. But I don't have any of it. So I figured I would spend 1500 -2k on a hatch and try and spend no more then 3k on parts and labor for the swap. Belive me, I would love to be able to do it. But I wouldn't have anything to drive while I was doing it and I don't have the time to learn.
