How much should i sell my JUN powered Si for?
I bought a hatch so i am selling my 99 black pearl civic Si. I was gonna make it completely stock but i dont know if its worth paying cash to get the valvetrain pulled out. I had JUN camshafts, camsprockets, valve springs, and retainers put in with ARP headstuds only 10,000 miles ago. The car also has a JUN flyweel and Clutchmasters stage 4 clutch. Other than that i put all the stock stuff back on. The car has 64k miles that are mostly highway (to and from work) and is clean. How much should i sell it with these parts? how much stock? oh ya i might throw in my hondata and/or a fiber images hood for more cash. thanks to anyone who responds

A heavily modded car is best held onto. You'll pretty much get book value for it. Possibly a bit more if you sell to an enthusiast.
Right now there is a glut of modded Hondas on the market. Everyone and his brother seem to be selling their cars after dumping major $$$ into them. Assigning a value to a modded car is tough.
Good luck.

you shouldn't sell it. The only thing i would do is put the b16 motor in the hatch but then how are you gonna sell the SI. So you mind as well keep it.

Keeping the Si is not an option. I can't afford the payments and insurance on both cars. I want to start a new project so I think I will pay the $500 to remove the valvetrain.

sell it stock as you will not get the book value of your JUN parts...you'll be better off doing this than trying to find someone who appreciates the quality of these parts...good luck!

Well since I have already had two cars stolen from me I don't think my insurance company would like it if another car went missing! r.i.p. 98ITR, 91CRXsi
