what up guys,just had to take out a b16 out of my friends eg, now everything is back in but we connected the wires to his oil pressure gauge and we started it and it is dieing and the guage is reading really rich, he has also a oil cooler setup and i only put about 4 and a quarter of oil, should i put more because of the oil cooler? his oil light is also on and we just installed a new block,. holla back youngin!!!!!

Adding an oil cooler shouldn't make your car require much more oil...

Just fill it until the dipstick reads that it's full...

did you say your oil pressure gauge is reading "rich" ?

4 quarts is about right. Check your wiring again. Are you throwing any CEL? Don't let me you are using your autometer a/f ratio to read your a/f mixture. FyI....those are just for show of light, not accurate and dangerous tuning with it

its reading a oil light on the dash , and the guage is reading rich, i felt the oil hose to the oil cooler and i didnt feel it hot or running threw. figured it would be running threw you know? every hose and wire is hooked up to something, dont know if it is showing a celalso i checked the dipstick and it is only at the first hole so i more oil is in need i guess, i just hope that the oil pump is working may be its messed up in the new block i just put in.

check for clogg or kink in hose. CEL= check engine light
