Is it really worth getting a Carbon fiber hood or not?? I'm not a serious racer. Just looking to lighten up a bit.

i don't think it is worth getting a carbon hood, you can find a lot of better stuff to spend that money on. i would wait till there was nothing else i could do performance wise and then look into reducing weight

I have a friend who picked one up for his EF Civic for $500 CDN, about $350 American. Quality? Looks nice, really nice.. uses stock mounts, looks clean (the edges don't stick up or anything). It's light enough that you can easily lift it (open the hood) with one finger.
