How much boost will you GAIN with a d16z6? Nothing. You will not gain any "boost" by swapping trannies. What tranny do you have now? From that are you going to swap in a z6 tranny? You will notice alot quicker driving because of the shorter gears compared to the cx,dx,vx trannies.

Try to ask questons a little more clearer so you can get the correct answers. Also, search as that this topic has been abused numerous amount of times.

EDIT: realized where your from and can understand your wording....

As far a d-series trannies, probablly the best tranny to get is the y8 tranny as it has very similar gearing to the z6 but has better shift forks.

sorry bro you didnt understand my question..
i sayed i have a d16z6 tranny now.
im palning for the start 0.6 bar on stock engine.
is it to much for the tranny?

if you dont have the Z6 tranny yet get one or better yet like dohcdelsol said hunt down a Y8 tranny

You already have the z6 and are turboing your car/ already turbo's correct? How much boost can your tranny handle is that what ur asking???

I've seen ppl on d-series tannies push 10-11 psi but i havent seen more then that. Thats not saying it cant be done, i jsut havent seen more personally.

You might find a better answer in the FI forum.

ok so from what you said its like my friend driving, he got the same car and he get 11psi in high boost
but he put over 3 new trannys in year.
maybe ill get the y8 tranny
