i believe it was 2, might have been 3. but one of them was for about 2 weeks before i got it.. they also did the most damage to the wiring harness and put some cheap *** wheels and springs on it.

Just 1, not counting dealers.

Mine was originally sold in 2000 by Northwinds Honda in Hawaii. It was somehow reacquired by Northwinds in late 2001, who then sold it at auction.

It was bought at auction by Meyer Honda in O'Fallon, IL, who sold it to me in February 2002 as a certified preowned Honda with 7,200 miles on it. I paid $14,200.

8 years later, I'm still driving it, swapped, dropped, and with 219K miles. Still clean, meticulously maintained, and rust free. Best car I've ever owned, by far.

Aw thanks man. Seriously, I'd be stupid to sell this car... it never breaks. I've fixed a few things, but nothing at all major, and a lot of it my fault. I swapped out the original engine for a gsr at 187K, and my brother in law is now using my old y8 in his 94 hatch with no rebuilds.

On mine, so far I've replaced:
1. passenger lower control arm (slid into curb on ice)
2. front wheel hub (I broke 2 studs and didn't have the equipment or know how to fix at the time)
3. clutch at 130K
4. clutch at 187K when I swapped
5. O2 sensor at 120K and 190K
6. Power doorlock at 190K
7. IACV
8. VSS
9. OE exhaust.

That's it, other than a few elective aftermarket things. Starts right up everytime, idles at 800rpm, runs like a top. It just keeps thrashing.
