How many were brought over to America and how many actually sold? Anyone know?

jdm em1 doesn't exist... 96-00 civics never came in coupes in japan...

Wrong.

There are JDM coupes, there are EDM coupes, hell, there are even EM1's in Europe, UK, and Australia. They are all assembled in the USA and Canada per the specifications of their market, and shipped over to be completed.

There aren't JDM EM1's, and I never said there were. There are JDM coupes though. They're all EJ6 and EJ7's (as far as 95-99 civics go).

Hey man, I just remember going to the Japanese Honda website back in like 97 and not seeing any coupes anywhere on their site. I would think if they sell it, it'd be on their webiste, that's all.

Japan never produced an em1 for sales in their own country thought.. But coupes were made.. So no there were no jdm em1's ever made

I didn't say there were EM1's in Japan. I know all too well that there are no EM1's in Japan.
