how to make my 00 si more s2000 like?
i have a '00 si and want a s2000, but can't afford one right now. how can i make my si handle and have a more s2000 performance? i am thinking about looking for suspension parts and trying to gain about 30-40 whp, would that do it? or should i just save all my money for the s2000? thanks.

You can certainly build your car to be plenty fast and handle extremely well, but you aren't going to duplicate the feel of an S2000. Of course, that isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Exactly, you would spend ridiculous amounts of money/time to make your car even close to similar to an s2000.
sell your si, you can spend and extra 3-4k and get a used s2k.
My buddy got his, an 01 with 60k on it for 11k.

i have a 00 si and my dad has a s2000, my car is no where near as fun to drive i dont think there is a way to make it feel like that no matter how much money you spend. if you did you would have more money into it than it would cost to sell your si and buy a used s2

beating an s2000 isn't all that complicated. Making a civic "Like" and s2k is the complicated part.
You can make a civic handle and out perform a stock s2000. But the s2000 is always going to have more potential.

I would say thats more like an NSX then an S2K. The s2k is frotn engine rear wheel drive, the nsx is mid engine, rear wheel drive. It would still be hella cool to have either car.
