yes, it is very loud. I would recommand not getting it.

This is not the exhaust for someone that has a heavy police presence in their town, Put it this way: Thats what I do for a living and I still have problems getting away with it being so loud. Pass on the Evo.... my next exhaust will probably be an Apexi WS or an RSR if they can stop the rusting issues.

You guys must have sensitive ears because the EVO2 is quiet, even at WOT the intake is louder.

I totally agree if you put a short ram intake on a stock car with the EVO2 it might sound pretty loud because of the intake but take the intake off and i bet you will notice a HUGE difference. If you have an intake which most people do, it will make it sound loud but its really the intake. But your choice of exhaust is yours and no one elses. And not to jack your thread but i heard the pass a new bill or law saying that now if you get a ticket for your exhaust it is a fine not just a $10 fix it ticket, is that true?

From the Outside, the Evo is pretty loud. Inside its rally quiet due to its weird design haha. I had the Evo first gen on my old LX..its pretty loud...but not as loud as my HKS Hipower
