i got a aftermarket momo steering wheel with hub... i will report back with pictures in what i did to make this work using these instructions. From this concept and looking at diagrams and doing continuity checks in several places, i believe it should work..

Another thing no one should forget is to use a long enough screw so it goes all the way through the blinker thing. It must touch the orange connector in the back for it to work. I ran in to this problem, so make sure your screw is long enough

I did this about 2 years ago and didnt have any problems until last night. so I took apart the steering wheel and found out 1 of the wires was loose. When I stuck it back it, the car started honking. It was this wire:
Does anyone know why the horn just goes off like that? I dont want to keep messing with it cause its a pretty quite neighborhood. I just moved in and I dont want to **** anyone just yet.

bump for anybody with pictures? i did this almost 10 years ago, but now have a db8 i want to do it to and the tornado ate my hatch.
