what kind of chip is it? is it a socket with a chip, or one of those ebay chips?

if you bought a "chip" to give you 11ty billion HP and increase your gas mileage by 30% while raising your rev limit to 10,000 and getting rid of your speed limiter, throw the damn thing away. You're wasting your money and run a good chance of blowing your **** up if you run it.

sell that "chip" to some unsuspecting ricer and get yourself a programmable ems to tune with and let the pro's install/tune it.

what mods/engine do you have anyway? you dont need any tuning with bolt on's.

30 bucks worth of parts... No! Try like 10 bucks for everything.... Including caps, resistors, 28 pin ziff socket, and the small ziff socket. I can buy blank UV about 2.00 bucks each.

Not even $10 with a EEPROM.

The most expensive part will be the ZIF. The low profile Aries ZIFs go for about $6. You can chip an ECU with no ZIF for about $2 including an EEPROM chip.
