Spacer on only the front would probably make for some bad oversteer, as well as look a bit awkward.

Spacers can cause issues with your lugs staying tight, so if you do go that route check them often.

Done correctly, spacers can be more work than just grinding down the calipers anyway.
Got two questions, did you have any fitment issues with the rears? And what kind of tires are you running on the HX rims?

Spacers Are Junk compared to ease of minor grindage, I dont care What that Ricky Racer Has to say!!!!
The Tires are a Performance 196-60-14 And there is No Fitment issues with the rears Being they are the same size as Normal Civic Front brakes!

Wel I'm using my cpacers to fit an extra inch of rubber under the cr if I ever get my new wheels. Thats my only real issue with the hx wheels is being restricted to 195's.

nice write up ...but the pics dont work cuz my comp. is crappy ...i have spacers for now but im thinkin about shaving the brakes now ...i got my Hx wheels in mint condition for $200 with fresh falken azenis on all 4 ...

HAHA nice write up Eric.. I remember a couple years ago we figured this out on my car... when we put those hx wheels on my car..... I WAS THE FIRST..... glad to see many are doing it now.
