The stock wires...and even my MSD ones all seal on the valve cover. The only way I would see that being a problem is if your wires don't seal on them anymore.

my wires didn't seal correctly either... And I got water all down in there... I cheated... pulled out the spark plugs and let the water fall into the cylinders...
Then dried off the plugs & wires and drove it around for 20-30 mins down back roads so nobody saw me driving a honda that sounded like a Subaru... LOL

Re: How to get your engine bay spotless (Bumnah)
You mean to tell me the engine got that clean w/o scrubbing and w/o ANY high pressure water??? I've never seen any cleaner that would eat the dirt THAT much to only require a light water spray to get it off. I always have to use a pressure washer, and I always use Simple Green. I did it on my mom's Avalon as part of her Mother's Day car detailing gift... I don't have a before pic (just visualize 58K miles of dirt), but it looks like this now:

hey guys, i tried using simple green and a hose to wash the stuff off on my e-bay last week and it didnt do sh*t...
so this week im gonna try with the pressure washer, are there any other precautions when using a pressure washing on the e-bay???
also, what is the best way to apply simple green? i just sprayed it every where, washed it off, and it didnt do anything.

Re: (NUBREED)
for thoose of you who used simple green how do you use it, i mean is there a method that works better, for ex. using simple green first and then washing it off, or having the car hot and using simple green, or what not.

Re: How to get your engine bay spotless (All Motor EH2)
to add to this pretty old thread, i work for an excavating company as a technician on diesel trucks, and belive me, they get SUPER dirty. the best thing i've found out there to degrease and pretty up an engine bay is to use Castrol Purple Power, 50/50 mix. mmmmmmmmm, thats the stuff! better then simple green and gunk combined.

Re: How to get your engine bay spotless (Eee Pee)
Simple Green actually left my engine bay all hazy. Done exactly as directions stated. I guess my the paint in my engine bay wasn't that great to begin with.
