i took out the front two screws on my 92 cx. i don't know what to do from here? i ordered a helms, but its not here yet. please help.

from underneath the car, loosen the bolts that are near the center console area and then pull on the cables, they are bitch to get through the floor. It took a lot of scrapped hand and force to get them out.

Make sure they don't catch on anything. I remember there being a bracket INSIDE the car that needed removed too?

You took the plastic around your shifter off and the plastic around your e brake right?

The braket holds the wire part of the cable. You should be able to just see it somewhere near the P brake. (I remember having to push on the carpet as one bolt was covered up) I'm going from memor and its been a minute so bear with me. Once the braket is loose, you take the wire cables out of the braket so they can slide through the floor.

In the floor is a rubber piece that the cables go through also to keep water/dirt out of the car, they're a bitch to slide though this too, it helps to just pull it out and then slide the cables out of it and then put the rubber boot back where you found it.

i know how to get it out, i just did it on my teg.
