How to fix my rims shine problem?
I think the clear coat has come off of 3 of my rims. If you look closly it looks like allot of small scratches with no shine. All types of rim shiner just make it worst or don't do anything at all. The lip still has shine but the rest doesn'y. They are about 9 years old. Is there anything i can do myself to fix this? Please help.

Clean with a strong solvent sand lightly with 240 and use rustoleum paint that has a built in primer.Before you spray them mask off the tire,keep them warm and dry for at least 24hrs. and you are "ready to roll".

what kind of finish is on it? full polish rims? what rims are they?
mothers polish anything but if it dont work, bring it to a shop.
