how to find out what trans i have.
hey i need to find out what tranny i have. it doesn't have any markings or anything on it. if you know anyway to find out please let me know.

If you know where to find the enging code on the block, look immediately to the left of that. You will see a sticker/label. Youre trans code is on that sticker.

if it's d-series, look at the stamp on the case near the drain plug, if it says a000, it's a non-ex/si trans.
if it says b000, it's an ex trans
if you're b-series and if you don't know what it is, it's probably not a b16 trans, because you'd be asking wtf was up the first time you drove it on the interstate.
what's your rpm @ 80mph in 5th gear

it doesnt' have an label or sticker. i run about 3000 to 3500 rpms at 60 to 65 mph. its a b series tranny.
