how does it ride on civic with 205/40/16 tires?

how does it ride on civic with 205/40/16 tires?
as title said, i'm about to put new tires on my EK, i've been using 205/45/16 set up. but i wanted to try different one this time.. so if anybody has this(205/40/16) set up, show me some pix, or any info would be nice..

Im running 205/40/16's kinda wish i had gotten the 45's its not much bigger but im sure would help out the rid quality....
The 40's are small so you do feel stuff no dought...but its not super horrible

they ride pretty well but definately not like 50 series...

When i had them on my Kosei Seneka's it was pretty bumpy, but it was on my 1st Sol so it was bumpy anyways.

had 40 series for my last set of tires and it was rough. next set went with 45's, not a huge diff. but definitly smoother ride.

Fine. No complaints.
If I was worried about a bumpy ride I wouldn't have lower'd my car or gone with 16's.
Between my Tein's the ride height and noise from the JIC exhaust.....a little bumpyness is nothing.
I wouldn't put anything else on my 16's....

i like my 45 series... not too much rubber, not too little either. don't mind the front bumper missing, was getting painted.

Stick with the 45's much much better ride. I've had both and imo I jsut think it looks better too, no gap. 16's are ment for 45's. Your question is a little broad, it also depends on your suspension kit and what brand tires.
