well first I would check if it even needs to be covered up. Like my DX emblem just came off, it was held on by some like glue stuff. If your wanna "shave" your rear honda emblem (that uses holes to mount emblem) then you take it to a body shop. they shave it down, cover it up and then paint it.
I would ask a local shop how much it would cost to get it down.

dude....that link doesnt tell you ****....just tells you how to REMOVE the emblem...not shave it...i shaved my own emplem...i got fiberglass and covered up the holes from behind and then when it dried...filled it up with glazin putty...or you can also use BONDO (which is better)...and wait till it dries...sand it all the way down to steal...primer filler it..and ready for the paint
