u got 3 bolts on the distubitor....unloosin them just enough to move the whole dist....your gonna need a timing gun to get the correct timing

That would be tightening wouldn't it.

Anyway counterclockwise to advance the timing and clockwise to retard the timing.

But yeah, you should get a timing light first.
