Hi Everyone!
Im new here and i was trying to figure out how to reprogram my keyless remote for my 2000 Civic EX. When i was trying to figure this out last week, i searched google and it gave me several results from this website. After reading a few sets of instructions im guessing that i need to put the key in the ignition then i need to turn it to certain positions while pressing buttons on the remote.

The problem is that all the different instructions i have read are not the same. Some say i need to turn the key between positions 0 and II, others say between I and II, some say that i need to press the remote button when the key is at position II others say position 0, also some say i need to press only the lock button and others have said i can use either button. I also read something about pressing a button on the radio, but i think that that doesnt apply to 99/00 civics because the radio is different and doesnt have the right button.

Im just looking to find out the correct way to do it because i already tried a few different ways and nothing worked so far, so any help is appreciated, Thanks.

Hey thanks alot! I havent tried it yet but it looks like this came from a honda instruction manual so im sure it will work. Thanks again.

It's straight out of the honda FSM and worked prefectly when I programmed remotes for my 99 civic lx.

Worked perfect! I just did it to mine Si! I wonder how much Honda charges to do this lolololol
