How can you manually roll up an auto power window?
I tore apart the driver side door on my 96 civic LX in order to see what the reason was behind my driverside window and driverside rear window not working. Well, I found out that the main wireharness from the chassis to the door has 8 wires that are ripped out of the connector pins. The solution is easy............My options are to find a new wire harness or repin them.
The big problem is..........................How do I manually roll up my automatic power driverside window in the meantime I await to find a new harness? What if it rains? What if someone wants to steal it?
TIA HT.

find the motor inside the door..tap the motor wires to lets say a 12v battery or ur car battery.

I agree with this last post. With the regulators being as fragile as they are, I would not recommend pulling it up. Simply take a battery and hook it up to the motor. If it goes the wrong way, just flip the wires.

unplug the motor, attach some wire to the plug and use a drill battery or your car battery and roll it up. i do this all the time at work and at my brothers body shop.

make sure to stick your head out of the sun roof while you close it all the way to make sure it sits flush with the roof of the car
