get a helm and do the checks for resistance on the coil, then check for the cam sensor and tdc sensors

I checked the coil resistance and the primary was .9 and the secondary was 12.68 or something like that. Would you mind explaing how to check the sensors you speak of. BTW i have a haynes and its confusing.

Bump I need to know if my distributor is bad. The distibuor spins and according to haynes manual my coil and ICM are good. If it helps at all when my car died I thought I ran out of gas cause my tank was pretty low. I put gas in and then it started but died after about 100 feet. Does this sound like a Dizzy shorting out or a coil or ICM. The car ran fine before hand. No erratic idle or anything like misfiring was present.

It only died once on me and it died right when I put the clutch in to stop. when it died I was in at a gas station so speed were minimal.

Right now I am wondering about the ignitor on it. I remember from searching that there was a brand of ignitor that was bad and am wondering perhaps if someone might know.

I will do that check you told me to do
